Gintama's Return to TV Promoted in New Ad

New episodes & selected episode reruns to start on October 4

A television commercial aired for the return of the Gintama television anime series next month.
in the ad, main lead Gintoki reminds people not to miss the return after the "final" episode aired
March, six months ago.

The series will return on October 4.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors Trailer Streamed

Slated for Sept. 21 and 25 release in Europe and America.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors is the first game in the One Piece series to be available on the PS3 platform.

The game will arrive in Europe on September 21, followed by North America on September 25. It shipped in Japan under the name One Piece Kaizoku Musou on March 1 and sold 655,774 copies in its first week.

Raise Hatsune Miku Into a Star in New Sega iOS/Android Game

Hatsune Miku Live Stage Producer arrives this fall in Japan

Sega announced at Tokyo Game Show 2012 on Thursday that it will release Hatsune Miku Live Stage Producer, an Autumn 2012 iOS/Android game in which the player raises the Vocaloid idol, Hatsune Miku and trains her to be a star.

The player can select the set lists, stage design and character design modules for Miku's special live concerts, roughly similar to Namco Bandai Games' The IDOLM@STER franchise. The player can also train Miku to build up her singing, dancing, and even her onstage chatting.

The single-player game will be free to download but there will be items with fee.

VitaminR Dating Simulation Game Announced at Event

VitaminR, the latest title in the Vitamin series of dating simulation games for female players.

D3 Publisher first released the VitaminX game for the developer HuneX on the Sony Playstation 2 console in 2007. Since then, the two companies have put out a Nintendo DS port called VitaminX Evolution, a Sony PSP port called VitaminX Evolution Plus, a DS mini-game collection called VitaminY, a Playstation 2 sequel called VitaminZ, and a PSP port called VitaminZ Revolution. An OVA project for the game was announced in 2010 and was released in 2011.

Live Streams of Vocaloid Drawing Session Planned

The Platina anime and illustration-related news website has announced that they will host an event titled "Drawing with Wacom Live! 2012 feat. Vocaloid Important Producer" on September 23 in Tokyo's Good Smile & Karaoke no Tetsujin Cafe. The event is also scheduled to be streamed on both the Nico Nico Douga video service as well as through Ustream.

The event will feature the artists TNSK, Hidari, and Tsukasa Ryugu performing live drawings on Wacom Cintiq 24HD Touch tablets. All three illustrators are known for their Vocaloid-related work. The event will also feature DJ sets by the Vocaloid composer Hachiouji-P and others with VJ backing by Vocaloid video creators Wakamura-P and Mie no Hito.

Platina has previously posted live drawing videos by the three illustrators as a part of their "Drawing with Wacom" series of articles.

The World God Only Knows Bundled OVA's Cast Revealed

19th manga volume including new anime to be released "around October 18"
The new installment centers around the character Tenri, and will be bundled with a limited edition of the 19th volume of the manga, which is due out "around October 18."

High School DxD TV Anime Gets 2nd Season

Tetsuya Yanagisawa directed the first season at the anime studio TNK with script writer Takao Yoshioka and character designer Junji Goto. The season premiered in Japan on January 6, and Funimation licensed the anime for North America. The 13th light novel volume is shipping this month with an unaired anime episode.
